Let us tell you a little about us.

Parents Together is a state licensed substance abuse education/prevention agency, working on the Southside of Ypsilanti since 1987, committed to addressing the social, economic, and health concerns of the residents of this community. This agencies goal is to educate residents of the dangers of using alcohol, tobacco or other drugs (ATOD) and how it affects their health and well-being. Social and economic consequences are also a major concern linked to these high-risk behaviors.

New research published in the January 2006 edition of the Archives of
Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine and funded by the National Institute on
Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) concludes definitively that "Alcohol
advertising contributes to increased drinking among youth."
